Almost PLN 22 million of net profit after 1Q2012
In 1Q2012 the Impexmetal Group received almost PLN 695 million of revenues.The net profit amounted to almost PLN 22 million and operating result amounted to PLN 24.6 million.
Results in 1Q2012 of the Impexmetal Capital Group
Operating profit of the Impexmetal Group in 1Q2012 amounted to PLN 24.6 million and the net profit amounted to PLN 21.8 million.
„The first quarter of 2012 showed difficult conditions, in which we must operate. Unstable economic situation in Euroland countries, to which we sell almost half of our purchase, does not help us to reach further records results. Kindly pay attention to the very high level made by the unprecented good results in the 1H2011.” – comments Piotr Szeliga – CEO of Impexmetal. „It is worth to mention the results of ZM Silesia, which has noted excellent results both in revenues and profits. Not to mention Walcownia Metali Dziedzice, in which restructuring process carried out last year, has brought effects – over PLN 2.5 million more on the gross sale result” – adds the CEO of Impexmetal.
Impexmetal Group’s revenues amounted to PLN 695 million. The highest increase of volume was noted in Baterpol S.A. (by 21 %), ZM Silesia S.A. (by 5 %) and WM Dziedzice S.A. (by 2 %).
„In the next months we will focuse on enlarging tonnage as well as on improvement of conversion price, particularly in aluminium. We try also to obtain better purchase prices of raw materials in lead segment” – says Piotr Szeliga.
