ZM Silesia S.A. Huta Oława Department specialises in production of zinc oxide and lead oxide, which have been widely applied in many different branches. The Company owns a good portfolio of buyers, such as: GoodYear, Thomson, Enersys, BAE and the largest Polish glass-works. In 2004 the Company enlarged its production capacity through the purchase of Hutbed in Będzin (zinc oxide) and through acquisition of ZTiF Złoty Stok (lead oxide). At present Huta Oława belongs to the four largest producers in Europe.
